Law bosses snub record-serving president
A notable absentee from last week’s Auckland district law society Christmas party was three-times president Anna Fitzgibbon.
Was the member of the Employment Relations Authority just too busy to pop along and catch up with her legal pals?
Ms Fitzgibbon, the only person in the society’s history to be president for three years in a row and who went the extra mile to hold the ship together when membership mutiny threatened to sink the show, was not invited.
“Maybe they don’t know my new address,” Ms Fitzgibbon told NBR ONLINE.
