Legal boss wants salary-leaking mole exposed

An Auckland lawyer is subject to a top-level mole hunt which has gone all the way to the Privacy Commissioner.

Details of what it is all about are deemed to be private and the parties will not talk, but Auckland district law society chief executive Sue Keppel wants the Privacy Commissioner to make lawyer and society member Niamh McMahon tell who leaked details of her salary.

Ms Keppel is angry about a reference Ms McMahon made last year to her getting a salary of about $250,000 to run the affairs of the ADLS.
