Lincoln rebuilds gets $107.5m for science
The government is backing the rebuild of Lincoln University with a $107.5 million contribution toward a new science facility.
Tertiary Education Minister Steven Joyce says the money will help the university get back on its feet.
The funding is contingent on the university fully integrating its new facilities with the other major partners in the new Lincoln Hub.
The hub is a partnership among Lincoln University, DairyNZ and Crown research institutes and will be an incubator for research, innovation and wealth creation in the agricultural sector.
