Lombard convictions represent miscarriage of justice, says retired top Judge

The convictions and sentences of four former directors of Lombard Finance & Investments represent a miscarriage of justice, according to retired Court of Appeal judge Sir Edmund (Ted) Thomas.

Sir Edmund canvasses his view in a comprehensive article titled “Manifestly Unjust: The Conviction and Criminalisation of Honest Men.”

It is about to be published by Thomson Reuters and assisted by the University of Auckland Faculty of Law.
