Lyttelton Port boss gets bonus rap after three deaths, flat earnings

Lyttelton Port's chief executive  [NZSX:LPC] got a pay rise of nearly 20%, despite dire workplace health and safety issues that saw three men die while doing their jobs at the port in the past year.

The largest South Island port’s annual report showed chief executive Peter Davie received a pay rise of nearly $200,000 to $1.24 million in the past year.

More than half of this pay packet was made up of incentive payments.
