SFO probes Skiffington's Love fee

Allegations of secret commissions and property deals involving premises which house two high-profile government departments lie at the heart of a major Serious Fraud Office investigation.

The investigation involves Lorraine Skiffington, a government adviser who worked at high levels in the last Labour government; her partner, Wellington Tenths Trust chairman Sir Ngatata Love; and centre around “consultancy fees” paid to Ms Skiffington by Auckland property developers Kerry Knight and Tony Gapes.
