NZ's drug kingpin on TPP deal

The head of New Zealand's biggest pharmaceutical company says changes to Pharmac are a big concern, but the real issue of the Trans Pacific Partnership is agriculture.

The latest round of negotiations starts in Auckland this week and agriculture and the pharmaceutical industry are likely to be hot topics.

The head of the US New Zealand Trade Council, Stephen Jacobi, says some negotiations will focus on extending the patent life for pharmaceuticals.
