Objector seeks money from council for litigation

A bizarre request for $60,000 has been rejected by Christchurch City Council.

It would have rewarded an unsuccessful resource consent objector. 

The request was recommended by the Riccarton-Wigram community board and one of its representatives, Mike Mora.

The money requested would have been compensation for Colin Stokes who is a nearby resident of the partly constructed Noble Park development on the western outskirts of the city.
