Reay minimises role, offers alternative CTV explanations
Alan Reay has told the royal commission of inquiry into the CTV building in Christchurch of alternative explanations for its collapse.
He is the founder of Alan Reay Consultants, the structural engineering company that designed the building in 1986.
It collapsed in the devastating February 2011 earthquake killing 115 people.
The royal commission is in its fourth week of hearings into the collapse and Mr Reay came under cross-examination again this week.
