Sanctions and cash upfront — export warnings for Russia and the Ukraine

Diplomacy has stalled between Russia and the Ukraine, but New Zealand’s exports to the region haven’t. And some are warning about possible sanctions and sending goods overseas without upfront payment.

Last year New Zealand sent $225.6 million in exports to Russia and another $61 million to the Ukraine, most of which was dairy products and fish.
