Alastair Porter claims he doesn’t want to become involved in litigation.
But he has to preserve the rights of his company, Shotover Park, he says.
Mr Porter and his companies, including Remarkables Park, have been familiar players in the Environment and High Courts.
Latterly his disputes have been with rival supermarket developer Tony Gapes, who has expressed frustration at his plans being blocked for the site known locally as Hendo’s Hole next to the Queenstown airport. Mr Gapes’ companies have also objected to Shotover Park’s proposals.
