Tax change urged for employee share schemes

Employees in a company share plan are shown to be more engaged at work and less likely to jump ship on receiving a better offer, but tax laws make joining one a headache for members.

Australian investor services company Computershare [ASX:CPU] commissioned a study from the London School of Economics into the benefits of its employee share scheme, run in nine countries including New Zealand.
