Top executive salaries slammed as workers forced to meet ‘terror regime’ sales targets

First Union is slamming the bank industry over wage gaps between highest- and lowest-paid bank workers. That follows the big banks releasing their annual reports, which include top executives’ salaries.

Victoria University economist Geoff Bertram says that while banking has the “most outrageous cases of overpaid executives,” calls for reform of executive pay could affect a number of industries in the next decade.
