Top lawyer tells why he quit

Senior Meredith Connell commercial partner Chris Moore says joining a boutique law firm will give him control of his own destiny.

NBR ONLINE revealed this week how Mr Moore and fellow partner Steve Woodfield quit Meredith Connell to establish an Auckland branch for Wellington-based commercial firm Greenwood Roche Chisnall.

Leading criminal prosecutor Ross Burns – best known publicly for more than five years running the prosecution of those caught up in the 2007 Urewera terrorism raids – retired from Meredith Connell at the same time.
