While Sir Colin usually lives in London he recently purchased this beachfront Mt Maunganui apartment. He also has a Pauanui holiday home. This apartment in the south tower and takes up the whole floor.  The complex was designed by Dr Robert Donald of Donald Design Limited.

James Kirkpatrick's Paritai Drive masterpiece

The Kirkpatrick's own several properties on Auckland's famous Paritai Drive. This Ron Sang designed home is just next-door to the  “wedding cake” house James Kirkpatrick and wife Gilda enjoy, and it is up for sale with the adjoining land, for $13 million.

Gary Lane's "Waimanu" mansion

This mansion is one of the 11 Herne Bay homes Gary Lane bought off the Sultan of Brunei several years ago. The transaction was valued at $35 million. The Sultan had decorated it with satin furniture and gold edged paintings, but Mr Lane has since given it a makeover.
