Two companies' investors targeted in Zero Commission low-ball offer

Listed companies Pumpkin Patch [NZX:PPL] and Tower [NZX:TWR] are urging shareholders to ignore a low-ball offer from serial poacher Zero Commission NZ.

Pumpkin Patch chief financial officer Matthew Washington told NBR ONLINE that Waiheke Island-based Zero Commission advised Pumpkin Patch in the weekend that it would be making an offer to shareholders with 3000 shares or less.

About 1000 shareholders could receive an offer, he says.
