What Auckland council ad pitch could be worth
Auckland Council has launched a tender for new ad agencies to lead its brand and creative strategy.
Spokesman Glyn Walters will not say how much is budgeted for next year’s spend but says the contract is for services the council has previously spent an average of $6 million on each year.
Tender documents state it wants to appoint agencies for two years with two one-year renewal options at the council's sole discretion. It says it wants specialised serivce to complement its in-house design and production capablity, which has three staff.
