What it costs to keep Kim Dotcom’s impounded cars, and jet skis

The government has paid more than $70,000 to keep alleged internet pirate Kim Dotcom’s vehicles and vessels – not including Official Assignee staff time.

And while the fleet of cars – including a 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe and a pink, convertible 1959 Cadillac  and four jet skis is being securely stored, insured and maintained.

The bad news for Mr Dotcom is they don’t have warrants of fitness.
