Why A2’s directors' fee increase is 'excessive'
The Shareholders Association will oppose alternative milk marketer A2 Corporation’s [NZX: ATM] proposal to increase directors’ fees from $250,000 to $600,000.
“We think it’s excessive,” association chairman John Hawkins told NBR ONLINE.
“It’s more than is needed to be appropriate for directors and a company of that size.”
It will not, however, opposed the re-election of chairman Cliff Cook and director David Mair, or the election of Julia Hoare.
