Workers lose trespass case against Ports of Auckland
Two workers have a lost a court bid to overturn orders that they stay off Ports of Auckland (POA) land.
The first, Kenneth Ziegler, was a former port worker dismissed for serious misconduct.
According to the recent decision of Justice Mark Woolford in the High Court at Auckland, POA alleged that Mr Ziegler had threatened to kill the general manager of operations for Ports of Auckland. In his evidence, he did not deny the allegation. (see the judgment attached)
