But winery entrepreneur Peter Yealands says he is selling a 9ha operational winery that is surplus to requirements.

The winery at 395 Awatere Valley Rd includes capacity to produce 6000 tonnes from 990,000-litre capacity tanks.

It was part of the legacy of the Yealands takeover of Ager Sectus last year, forming one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned wine companies.
