Calida was 2019’s Voyager business journalist of the year. She holds arts and law degrees from the University of Otago, and a journalism post-grad diploma from AUT University. Before starting at NBR in 2014, she worked as a business reporter at Key Media and a court and political reporter at Cook Islands News. Her freelance work includes writing for The Listener, APNZ, Escape Magazine and The Sunday Star Times.
