MediaWorks Canterbury is pleased to announce well-known former Kiwi cricketer Chris Harris joined the Canterbury sales team.
Since the end of his professional cricket carreer in 2010, the former Black Caps one-day star, who is known for his nagging slow-medium wobblers and as one of the best fielders to ever play for New Zealand, has spent the last three years working in medical sales.
Chris is thrilled to be joinging the team, saying “I’m used to working in a good team environment and it certainly seems to be that so far, I’m looking forward to adding value to the team. Radio runs in the Harris family, with all three brothers now currently working for MediaWorks, so I am very excited about the new challenge that lies ahead.”

A cult hero in New Zealand Cricket and for a time, one of the most effective all-round limited cricketers in the international game, Chris is remembered as much for his versatile accumulation with the bat as for his nagging slow-medium wobblers.
In 2014, Chris became the very first New Zealand player to have played 250 ODI's and remains New Zealand's second highest wicket taker in one days behind Daniel Vetorri.
Chris is very much an all-round Cantabrian having attended St Andrews College and resides in Christchurch with his wife Linda and their three children.
He has also spent a lot of time in the commentary box working over the years.
