Most NBR readers will have heard of anarcho-capitalism (some probably hope it can be implemented in New Zealand) but what about arachno-capitalism?
Yes, that’s right- capitalism for spiders. It doesn’t work, according to this guy.
Apparently the main problem is that spiders don’t have pockets to store all the money (they obviously haven’t invented Eftpos yet).
On that basis capitalism should work great for marsupials as they have pouches.
However, there are some people who clearly believe in the power of capitalism to improve the living standards of spiders: arachno-capitalism now has its own Facebook page.
