Commercial property owners and operators are licking their proverbial lips at the opportunity for increasingly tapping into the market.
New mobile operator 2degrees has set up sites in three malls - Auckland’s Sylvia Park, Christchurch’s Northlands and - from today - Wellington’s North City.
The kiosks put 2degrees’ head-to-head with Telecom and Vodafone’s retail operations for the first time, but only until October 4. They sell sim cards, top ups and the nine phones in the new telco’s line-up.
Previously, 2degrees phones and sim cards have only been available through it raft of retail partners.
