Ideas Shop is building its national profile with the announcement of Amanda Woodbridge as its new partner.
An award-winning communications consultant, Amanda joined Ideas Shop in 2008, moving quickly to associate partner role and leading the firm’s employee and change communications practice and more recently its Wellington office.
“Amanda demonstrates Ideas Shop’s commitment to building our national client portfolio of work,” says Chief Executive Marjory Embleton.
“She already has a significant reputation leading Ideas Shop’s work in change communications and public affairs for some of New Zealand’s largest corporate organisations.
“Amanda is Ideas Shop’s first new partner since its establishment in 2004, an important milestone in the company’s strong growth and sustainability.”
Amanda joins the firm’s three founding partners supporting the board of directors in continuing Ideas Shop’s growth as a full service nationwide communications and PR consultancy firm, with offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Amanda is a multi-award winning professional communicator, who brings more than 12 years’ agency-based and corporate communications expertise to the role. She has previously worked for ANZ and more recently has advised and supported public and private sector chief executives and senior leaders to communicate change and highly complex issues.
Amanda said Ideas Shop’s commitment to building women leaders was a significant factor in her decision to become partner.
“Ideas Shop is distinct in the market for investing in its staff and having a high proportion of working parents in the team, using flexible working and part time arrangements. Without that commitment I would not have been able to progress to partnership and it is something that I will continue to foster and promote in my role,” says Amanda.
