Accountants look beyond membership for public policy push

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand says today’s policy push is not just about its members but a wider public interest.

The newly merged body launched its policy platform yesterday in Auckland (scroll to bottom to see full report attached). 

While the body’s recommendations include specific reforms to civil liability, increasing the amount of independent analysis on NZX-listed companies and a review of retirement incomes, immigration and education were two key discussed themes at the launch.
