ANZ trims staff as asset recovery team is centralised
Five ANZ jobs will go as the country’s largest lender centralises its asset recovery management team.
The department, which has 105 full-time equivalent staff, manages customers in arrears who have been through an unresolved collections process.
ANZ senior external communications manager Stefan Herrick says three roles in Christchurch and two in Hamilton will be lost, as the team is centralised in Auckland and Wellington, where the bulk of staff are already based.
The changes should be completed by the end of January.
