Blue Chip investors want liquidators sacked

Blue Chip investors, more than $80 million out of pocket from the property scheme's collapse, want its liquidators removed from the job so their $40 million claim can go ahead.

A lawyer for the 800-strong investor group told Auckland High Court yesterday funders wouldn't foot the bill for a $40m claim against Blue Chip directors and auditors unless an independent party, such as the official assignee, was appointed to the Blue Chip group of companies.
