Open Country Dairy looks ahead with caution

Open Country Dairy is confident of maintaining a competitive milk payout to its suppliers this season but is sounding a word of caution over product prices.

The Auckland-based company, 70% owned by the Talley Family and 10% owned by Singapore's Olam International, today uploaded its financial statements at the Companies Office.

It recorded net profit of $18.15 million for the 14 months to September 30, down $5.08 million on the $23.23 million figure for the 12 months to July 30, 2012.
