Proposed changes to prospectus registrations have been softened after a government ministry squared off with a major law firm.

As revealed by NBR ONLINE last month, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment – which runs the Companies Office – suspended its plans for slower processing times for registering securities documents, including prospectuses, after Chapman Tripp complained.
