Developer’s wife, facing bankruptcy, argued wrong court case

Bankrupt developer Rod Nielsen's wife Sirene Millar got "totally confused" and defended the wrong guarantee in a court case against her, a judge has heard.

Ms Millar has applied to the High Court at Auckland for a bankruptcy notice against her to be set aside while she tries to recall a District Court judgment against her.

Before Associate Judge Jeremy Doogue yesterday, Ms Millar’s lawyer Andrew Swan said bankruptcy notices issued by NZF Money receivers KordaMentha should be set aside pending the District Court action.
