Inquiries not scuppered by Romano’s exit - Fonterra

Fonterra has given an assurance Gary Romano - who quit the company this week - will front and co-operate with all inquiries into the company's botulism scare.

But Prime Minister John Key has yet to say if fast-tracking an Inquiries Bill will legally require Mr Romano to co-operate.

In response to questions from NBR ONLINE, Fonterra’s group director of communications Kerry Underhill made the following response: “Gary Romano will be involved with Fonterra’s reviews and will also cooperate with any government inquiries."
