Kiwi investors get half their money back from collapsed fund manager

New Zealand investors owed $1.8 million following the collapse of a funds management firm have received a 50% distribution but it is likley that's all they will get.

Auckland-based Yuan Fu Capital Markets went into liquidation in September 2010 with $1.2 million of investor funds recorded as being held through various bank accounts.

However, investors soon filed claims totaling $1.763 million.
