Reserve Bank 'helpless' against housing market

The Reserve Bank is “fairly helpless” to do anything about the overheating housing market in the current economic cycle, a leading market strategist says.

For all the talk about the central bank’s work on “macro- prudential” tools, these will have minimal impact on what is starting to look like an emerging housing bubble, JP Morgan economist Ben Jarman says.
