Road tolls to ease congestion favoured by Aucklanders

Aucklanders want certain roads tolled to reduce congestion, according to a NBR poll.

This will be music to the ears of Mayor Phil Goff who has been calling on the government to consider road pricing to cover the $7 billion shortfall from infrastructure projects over the next decade.

Indeed, 66% of NBR readers want road tolls while 34% don’t.
