Skinner and Rowley trusts liquidated

The Wellington High Court has provisionally liquidated the trusts of fraudulent accountants Barrie Skinner and David Rowley.

The pair was found guilty in July on 80 charges each of tax avoidance, fraud and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Justice Robert Dobson has now provisionally agreed to BNZ’s application to liquidate the pair’s trusts TPS Asset Trust and TPS Asset No 2 Trust.

He said he was satisfied the trusts are unable to pay their debts.
