Skinny boss details launch timeframe
Telecom's new Skinny Mobile sub-brand is set for a late January launch.
Skinny boss Paul O'Shannessey this morning told NBR that a Skinny promotion at the December 29-31 Rhythm and Vines festival would be a "brand launch" rather than a commercial service launch.
Mr O'Shannessey said while he was keen for the youth-targeted service to get up and running, "There’s a technology brown-out at Telecom over that period."
He explained, "Telecom has a lot of technical staff on holiday, so they don't like to release new technology over that period."
