Software company hires Weldon, considers IPO

Auckland-based job management software startup GeoOP - which last month appointed Mark Weldon as chairman - is considering a public share offer and NZX listing to raise capital for expansion.

The company has hired Wellington investment bank Cameron Partners to explore options and has been testing investor appetite for a capital raise.

Chief executive Leanne Graham, who cut her teeth at cloud accounting firm Xero, tells NBR ONLINE the company is looking to raise capital although it is too early to say what form that may take.
