Wall St swindler’s advice to jailed finance bosses

New Zealand’s jailed finance company directors face a long, hard road repairing their reputations, a reformed fraudster nicknamed the “Wolf of Wall Street“ says.

Jordan Belfort, a 50-year-old from Queens in New York, spent 22 months in prison from 2004-06 after being convicted for his role in a $US200 million securities fraud.

He was also ordered to pay $US110 million in restitution to victims, which he is still paying off, partly through sales of his autobiography The Wolf of Wall Street.
