Westpac NZ a leader in digital banking – McKinsey report

Westpac NZ is three months into its $15 million, 18-month programme to transform its digital banking model and a new report says the bank is a leader in the Asia-Pacific market.

The bank’s strategy sets it apart from the rest because its digital transformation is driven by the customer experience, says Kenny Lam, partner and leader for McKinsey & Co’s retail banking in Asia.
