Whitcoulls talks Kobo sales as Kindle price crunch looms

Decisions, decisions ...Yesterday in the US, Borders chipped $US20 off the price of the Kobo e-reading tablet.The cut takes the Kobo's price down to $US129, or $10 cheaper than Amazon's new, cut-price Kindle.In New Zealand, Whitcoulls is selling the Kobo for $NZ295 (Whitcoulls is owned by Australia's RedGroup, which also owns the Borders franchise in this part of the world).
