Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort reveals plan to pay $100m owed to victims within 18 months

Jordan Belfort tells NBR he'll announce a "mammoth" speaking tour of the US — a "final redemption" series of events he hopes will attract crowds of 20,000-plus, and allow him to pay back the $US100 million still owes victims under a court-agreed restitution deal.

In 2003, Belfort was sentenced to four years in  prison (he served 22 months) after cooperating with an FBI investigation into his Long Island, New York stock broking firm, Stratton Oakmont  which systematically ripped off investors in a series pump-and-dump share scams during the 1990s.
