Krukziener cuts out-of-court deal

Andrew Krukziener's High Court bankruptcy battle has been cut short after a surprise move by the property developer over the weekend. But he is not out of the woods yet.Mr Krukziener, $45 million in debt, has withdrawn his application for High Court approval of his $350,000 creditor repayment plan.The hearing, which began on Thursday, was due to continue today for conclusion tomorrow.

A high net worth individual has purchased one of the most expensive apartments in New Zealand, but their identity is being kept quiet until Land Information documents are released in upcoming weeks.The penthouse of the Metropolis apartment building, developed by former Rich Lister Andrew Krukziener, has finally found a buyer.Charles Shrimpton, director of Agile PR and JC Earthworks, bought the penthouse in September 2003 for $3.3 million.
