Newly minted agency Josh & Jamie hardly has the door open for business, and they’ve already done what some agencies take yonks to sort out: They’ve won themselves a bank.
The indie has picked up SBS Bank after a two-way pitch.
They’ll take care of business in conjunction with Naked Communications.
The “Jamie” in Josh & Jamie, Mr Hitchcock, said both agencies are chuffed.
“We’re rapt. It was great to work with [Naked director] Simon [Bird] again, SBS Bank are a fantastic bunch of people with great plans to build their brand further north and they’ve promised us Bluff oysters in our meetings.”
A new SBS brand campaign will launch mid-August.
General manager corporate performance Lana Winders said she was impressed by the agency’s depth of understanding of the organisation.
“Naked demonstrated strong, strategic credentials, a really solid grasp of SBS Bank’s point of difference and just how important the local community is to our organisational values.
“Josh & Jamie translated this into some charming brand stories that we think our will really appeal to our audience.”
Naked and J&J look to be a solid partnership – the alliance has already picked up some DairyNZ business.
Media will continue to be bought by Independent Media.
