The founder of Mooring Systems (later taken over by Cavotec), Peter Montgomery, is launching an online system that allows staff, suppliers and customers real‐time shared access to the same data.
After leaving Cavotec, Mr Montgomery, set up Letstrade International to streamline back office order processing, procurement and inventory management, and eliminate double-entry.
He said the idea for Letstrade arose from frustrations over many years at inability to find an entry level “enterprise resource planning” solution that would provide seamless document flow and c‐commerce between users, while monitoring profitability, sales, purchasing, products and inventories across multiple sites.
The first release of the software is now being offered on free trial to businesses and Xero users and Mr Montgomery says the response has been very encouraging.
Letstrade integrates with the popular Xero accounting software trading solution for businesses. Mr Montgomery and co‐founder and Letstrade managing director John Clarke were invited by Rod Drury of Xero to become a solution partner. Xero offers automated bank feeds and bank reconciliations.
