Online investment marketplace Snowball Effect announces appointments.
Leading online investment marketplace Snowball Effect has announced a series of new appointments to its advisory board and core team, marking another phase of growth for the capital raising business.
Hayley Buckley, who has provided legal consulting services to Snowball Effect over the past four years, joins as a director on the Snowball Effect board. She brings valuable advisory experience across all aspects of corporate governance including capital raising, equity capital markets and financial services regulation. Buckley is currently a partner in the corporate advisory team at law firm Wynn Williams and has also previously held a senior associate role at global law firm, Paul Hastings.
David Curtis joins the Snowball Effect team as a director for growth capital, focused on assisting companies on their capital raise journeys to reach growth potential. A former accountant and banker with 20 years experience in financial strategy, capital markets solutions and business leadership, Curtis provides valuable expertise in international capital markets and local business investment.
Paul Beale also joins the team as an associate for growth capital, focused on helping prepare companies to raise capital. Beale brings experience in funds and relationship management through his previous roles, including as an investment analyst at a trade finance fund in South Africa. Beale is a chartered alternative investment analyst (CAIA), having attained his Level 1 designation. Prior to this, he studied Commercial Law and International Business at Victoria University of Wellington.
