EDITOR'S INSIGHT: Nats' tax cuts deliver socialists' goals

In a bid to shut down socialists’ complaints about "unfairness" in the tax system, Finance Minister Bill English has in fact proven the opposite.

The socialist camp, comprising Labour, Greens and New Zealand First, claimed the tax changes introduced by National 2010 meant the better paid would pay less tax at the expense of the lesser paid.
