This is a supplied media release.

Director Paul Bingham has joined the board of The Christchurch Foundation, an independent body set up to streamline corporate and individual donations for the city.

He is executive chairman of digital marketing platform Shuttlerock, chairman and shareholder of Black Cat Cruises and a director of Ngai Tahu Tourism. He recently retired from the Air New Zealand board and has also served as director at Tourism NZ and chairman of Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism.

Mr Bingham’s career has spanned marketing roles in a range of companies and he led Black Cat Cruises for 15 years as managing director. He has been based in Asia, the UK, and the US before returning to live in his hometown of Christchurch 20 years ago.

Amy Carter, chief executive of The Christchurch Foundation, says she is delighted that Mr Bingham has agreed to join the organisation’s board.

“Paul brings a wealth of experience, combined with an international perspective, and is truly committed to growing Christchurch’s reputation as a great place in which to invest, work, live and play," she says.
