Seeka Kiwifruit Industries Ltd said net profit before tax fell to $1.45 million in the year to March 31 from $5.59m in the previous year due to a number of one-off items.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 3.54 percent to $14.538m.
The after-tax profit reflected a number of one-off items, including the impairment of the company's investment in Vital Foods ($1.8m), a lower sale price for South Auckland Pack and Coolstorage in the prior year ($400,000), and cancelling a management contract when purchasing Te Awanui Huka Pak ($3.90m).
Directors declared a fully imputed dividend of 10 cents per share payable on June 29.
